- Ocean's Advocate is a non-profit organization dedicated to public education, conservation and ecological awareness. Founded by Emileigh Covatch, Ocean's Advocate operates not only with a full time crew, but also several volunteers. Campaigning from land and sea, Ocean's Advocate strives to end illegal long-line fishing, bring a stop to shark finning and whale hunting, especially in protected waters, encourage and support wildlife rehabilitation, as well as breeding programs designed for wild reintroduction of endangered species. In addition, we work to educate the younger generations, providing fun and interactive presentations, challenging young minds to question the actions of their elders regarding ecological responsibilities and future steps towards conservation and global rehabilitation.
